Hello Beloved One,
Lying in bed this morning, just as sleep started leaving me, I began watching my breath; following its gentle rhythm of entering and leaving my body.
As I noticed the current of breath coming and going, I was like a witness, watching from the outside.
Then, turning my attention into my body, experiencing my body from the inside out, I became away of what was happening within my body. I began noticing sensations. The gentle tugging of my belly as it expanded: my shoulders sinking deeper into the mattress as my ribs shifted and my chest filled; the tickle of air moving out of my nose; a steady rhythm that sent a subtle wave through every part of me.
Such exquisite sensations; the body doing what it constantly does to keep me alive. In that moment those sensations were my entire world. And it was exquisite. It is grace.
Loving you through my breath,
Sharon
